Motorcycle with artificial intelligence by Yamaha

Wouldn't life will be better for motorcycle enthusiasts if their motorcycles learn how to recognize the owner and adjust the riding experience to create a better or harmonious relationship?

Yamaha recently released the latest concept of motorcycle developed to bring greater satisfaction to its riders. The MOTOROiD is a "smart" electric motorcycle infused with artificial intelligence technology to enhance its rider experience.

How the MOTOROiD aims to do just that? The motorcycle developers claimed that it is capable of "recognizing its owner and interacting with its owner like a living creature" or in the Japanese language - the Kando.

*Kando is a Japanese word for the simultaneous feelings of deep satisfaction and intense excitement that we experience when we encounter something of exceptional value.

According to the motorcycle developers:

In order to bring people new experiences of Kando,* this experimental machine employs artificial intelligence and explores the feasibility of concepts for creating new forms of personal mobility in which the rider resonates harmoniously with the machine. MOTOROiD’s development concept was an “Unleashed Prototype,” and it is capable of recognizing its owner and interacting in other capacities like a living creature. By undertaking these kinds of development challenges, Yamaha is aiming to acquire technology for creating new value for our customers.

How exactly is this Kando thing going to turn out? At this moment, it is beyond me.

However, I do look forward to seeing that one day the - motorcycle-powered exoskeleton design such as seen in MOSPEADA becomes a reality.

The A.I in the Cyclone motorcycle will automatically detect incoming danger to its rider and transform to save its rider.
